Suddenly, Sebastian sensed something and froze. The next second, his face fell, and he dashed away with a swoosh.

Almost simultaneously, a ten feet long golden sword energy ascended from the sky and cut the mystic crane into two, splattering blood all over the sky.

Although Sebastian had reacted quickly, he was still swept over by the sword energy. He had activated a protective shield to block the sword energy, but the great force knocked him dozens of feet away, and he spluttered a mouthful of blood.

"Huh?" An elderly man in gray robes appeared mid-air. He seemed surprised that Sebastian was able to survive his sword energy's attack.

Sebastian steadied himself and turned to the old man, his eyes full of fury. "Galen Gaudium!"

After three years, Sebastian noticed that Galen appeared much younger than he was three years ago. His originally snowy hair now had a lot of dark hair, and his face had a healthy glow.

It was obvious that his lifespan had extended after his breakthrough, and that renewed his vitality.

While Sebastian was scrutinizing him, he was doing the same to Sebastian.

"So, it's you, rascal. I've belittled you back then. I didn't expect that you're the most gifted one in the group.

"You're already a pinnacle demigod at such a young age. Your gift is fearful and comparable to the talents in Sacred Ground.

"Old geezer, as a senior and Lesser Deity Master, you actually ambushed me. That's despicable and shameless." Sebastian was equally murderous.

Although he appeared composed on the surface, he was thinking of ways to escape. He wasn't being cowardly for wanting to escape even before they fought. Instead, it was a smart move.
