Without the mystic crane as transportation, Sebastian had to fly through the air. Although he was faster than a mystic crane, it wasn't as relaxing as resting on the back of a mystic crane.
Fortunately, his cultivation was high, and he could always replenish his energy while flying. This could support him as he traveled for a long time in the air.
…
Swordity stood amongst the clouds at the peak of Mount Sword. It was a great sect that had a reputable name far and wide.
The building was grand with beautifully decorated pillars. The peak of the mountain was encapsulated by fog and clouds. It was full of spiritual air and provided a great environment for cultivators.
Although Swordity wasn't as strong as Sacred Grounds, it was much stronger than the four major sects of South Mount county.
After traveling through the air for half the day, Sebastian finally reached the foot of Mount Sword and took the stone staircase uphill.
Even though he wanted to fly up, this area had a strong restraining and formations which prevented flying.
About 15 minutes later, he reached the entrance of Swordity, where two apprentices with a longsword on their backs stood guard. Although they were door guards, their cultivation was one-star demigod.
Sebastian was a little stunned at this and thought that Swordity was strong. An apprentice of such caliber at the four major sects of Mount South would be deemed as genius students.
But at Swordity, they were only fit for door guard duties. The difference was massive.
"Stop where you are. Who are you?"
Sebastian had just reached the door guards when they stopped him. All the apprentices of Swordity had a badge, and they could enter as long as they presented it at the door.
On the way to report the matter to the chief, the door guard saw Leila and hurried to her instead. "Ms. Leila, a man just arrived and claims to be your fiance."
After he said that, all eyes turned to Leila with a doubtful look.
The smile on Leila's face froze. Then, she lost her temper. "Ridiculous! I don't have a fiance!"
Seeing that Leila had lost her temper, the door guard felt weak in his knees from fear. "Ms. Leila, that's what the man claims with a marriage agreement. It's got nothing to do with me."
"He's got some nerve! How dare he ruin my reputation?" she exclaimed as she marched out.
Everyone else hurried after her, eager to find out who the bold man was.
