Leila responded coldly, "Sebastian, can you stop adding insult to injury? Alfie is already miserable, and here you are rubbing salt in his wounds. That's just too much."

Sebastian sneered. "He got exactly what he deserved. You all don't know the whole story. He even tried to force himself on Faylin.

"If I hadn't been nearby, he would've succeeded. So, yes. This is karma at its finest."

Leila flew into a rage. "Shut up! He's already in this state, and you're still slandering him? That's too much!"

Faylin chimed in, "Sebastian is telling the truth. Alfie really did try to hurt me, and Sebastian saved me! That's also why you didn't see him for half a month. He was recovering from the injuries Sebastian gave him."

With only two days left before they could leave and with the barrier still blocking any escape or communication, all they could do was wait for the sect to break the barrier and release them.

Sebastian chose to cultivate inside Chimes Tower because of the faster time flow. While two days would pass outside, inside the tower, they would have the equivalent of six days. It was more than enough time to make significant progress.
