"Why is there another invitation?" Enrique asked upon noticing a second one in the mentor's hand. He looked puzzled.

"This one is addressed to Sebastian," the mentor explained, handing the invitation over to him.

Enrique let out a long sigh. "Just as I expected. Galen must know that you're back. Sending this invitation means that he's likely planning to deal with you at the banquet tomorrow."

"If he wants to settle scores then, I'll gladly oblige," Sebastian said indifferently.

"Sebastian, are you seriously planning to go?" Enrique asked, his eyes widening in disbelief.

"They already know I'm back. Do I have any other choice?" Sebastian replied with a shrug.

Enrique fell silent upon realizing that Sebastian was right. With Galen aware of his return, escaping would be almost impossible.

Of course, if Sebastian truly wanted to run, the Gaudium Sect wouldn't be able to stop him. After all, the sect was far from Skyde.

Unless the Sacred Ground elder personally intervened, Galen alone wouldn't stand a chance against Sebastian.

The woman glanced up at Sebastian, pouting slightly. "Why are you hiding under that hat? Take it off. Your appearance makes me uncomfortable."

"Are you here to buy my pills, or are you here to buy me?" Sebastian asked coldly.

"You—" The woman's expression darkened with anger, but she suppressed it when she remembered that she was dealing with a fourth-tier alchemist.
