Sebastian ignored her, acting as if he hadn't heard a word she had said. He was fully absorbed in the alchemy process, and he paid no attention to anything else.

Lydia huffed and sat down angrily, determined to watch what kind of disaster Sebastian would create.

Even though she wasn't an alchemist herself, Lydia knew enough about the craft to understand the basics. She'd watched plenty of skilled alchemists at work, but this chaotic method of Sebastian's was something she'd never seen before.

Minutes passed, and Lydia shook her head. At this point, she was convinced that Sebastian was a fraud. She wasn't going to waste any more of her time.

Just as she was standing up to leave, a rich and fragrant scent filled the air.

"What... is this? A pill fragrance? How is that possible?"

Lydia's face was full of disbelief. She could easily tell the difference between the smell of medicinal herbs and the fragrance of a nearly completed pill. If it was the latter, it meant that the alchemy process was succeeding and not failing.

As time went on, the aroma intensified, becoming so intoxicating that it was hard to resist.

"It really is the pill fragrance of the Cultivation Boost Pill," Lydia said. Her face was full of disbelief.

At that moment, Sebastian calmly finished the process. With a simple wave of his hand, the lid of the alchemy pot lifted, and a handful of perfectly formed pills floated out, which he caught effortlessly.

Taking out a vial, Sebastian carefully placed the pills inside before handing it over to the still-stunned Lydia.

"It's actually pretty simple. I spread the ingredients in different spots within the alchemy pot and controlled the array inside to ensure that each area reached the precise temperature needed for each herb. That way, I saved a lot of time."

Lydia was utterly floored. Even though Sebastian had made it sound easy, she knew how impossibly difficult it was to achieve something like that. She had never even heard of anyone doing that.

"Ms. Lockhart, do you think I'm impressive? Do I seem even more handsome now?" Sebastian teased with a grin.

"Stop flattering yourself," Lydia retorted. Despite her words, her cheeks flushed a light shade of pink.

"Allow me to flatter myself just a bit more," Sebastian continued, stepping closer to her. "I think you've already fallen for me. Why don't you become my woman?"

Before Lydia could react, Sebastian lifted her chin and leaned in to kiss her.
