"It's Mr. Hughes!" Shock washed over Gina's face. She had heard about how powerful Cadmus was. More than a decade ago, he was already a Lesser Deity Master.

Furthermore, he was the strongest amongst the ten elders of Swordity with an unimaginably high cultivation. Even if he wasn't as strong as Luther, he wasn't far-off.

The look on Sebastian's face turned solemn as well. Even though he crossed levels and defeated Galen, Cadmus was much stronger than Galen. Given Sebastian's current cultivation, he was undoubtedly not his match.

Cadmus' eyes were filled with fury when he looked at Sebastian. Gritting his teeth, he hissed out, "Little bastard, you made my grandson impotent. I'm going to make your life worse than hell, or this anger of mine cannot be appeased!"

"Sebastian, I'll stall him. Run now!" Holding her sword, Gina placed herself in front of Sebastian. Despite knowing that she had no chance of stopping Cadmus and would most probably die, she didn't hesitate.

All she hoped for was that her death could buy Sebastian some time to escape.

"Go now, Sebastian!" Bruce blocked in front of him, too.

"Bruce, Gina, step out of the way. None of you can stop him, so don't make unnecessary sacrifices." Sebastian shoved both of them aside.

"All of you can stop shifting the things around. Today, none of you are going to leave," Cadmus said murderously.

Looking at Cadmus, Sebastian said, "I'm the one you're looking for. This has nothing to do with them. Let them go."

Cadmus sniggered. "That's impossible. They can only blame themselves for knowing you. However, this lady is pretty. I won't kill her. Once I've killed everyone else, I'll take her home to enjoy her."

"You're despicable!" Gina hollered in anger.

"Old dog, I wanted to let you die with your body intact today, but it looks like there's no need for that now," Sebastian said coldly.

However, when Chaya's sword was halfway to him, she suddenly retracted and stabbed again.

Cadmus groaned as the longsword penetrated his chest, his eyes as big as golf balls. He wore a look of disbelief as he slowly lowered his head to look at the longsword sticking out of his chest, and blood gurgled out of his mouth.

His body swayed a few times before finally crumbling to the ground lifelessly.

Bruce and Gina were stunned by this unexpected scene, turning to Sebastian with shock and confusion in their eyes.

Keeping a composed face, Sebastian looked at Chaya and nodded. The latter pulled out the longsword, which was clean of blood. Her figure flashed, and she merged with the darkness again, as though she had never appeared.

Sebastian approached Cadmus' body and took away his sword and storage space ring.
