Harrison gently stroked her head.

Ryan's face was practically purple with rage.

Before he could explode, Lady snorted. "If you're done, then take your people and get out of my sight!"

She loved her son, but she felt she had wronged her daughter-in-law far more. And what was he doing today? Bringing his mistress home the very day his wife returned, interrogating her precious grandson and granddaughter-in-law right in front of her!

Ryan had no intention of staying long either. He said coldly to Susan, "Go get Carter. We're leaving!"
