He was of average height, but carried himself with a dignified grace that suggested a life well-lived. Despite the signs of age, he seemed to have maintained his physique, showing no signs of the weight that often comes with the years.

“What’s happening here?” Lillian inquired, her voice cutting through the noise around her.
