There stood a young woman whose beauty defied description. She wore a nude-colored gown, its design understated and free from any ornate decoration. Yet, the simplicity of the dress perfectly traced the contours of her slender frame, lending her an air of grace and refined elegance.

Her hair, reminiscent of seaweed in its deep, flowing hues, caught the light from the grand chandelier above, casting a rich, sapphire glow around her that seemed to envelop her in an aura of mystery.

Mr. Austin regarded her with warmth in his eyes. “Lilian, you’ve finally arrived. Tonight’s banquet was planned with you in mind. Without your presence, it simply wouldn’t hold the same meaning.”

Tina smiled warmly and chimed in, “Absolutely. You truly are a blessing to this family.”

Lilian returned their smiles modestly. “You’re giving me far too much credit. I only did what I could. Honestly, the real credit belongs to Rina—her determination was unwavering—and to her family for their constant support. That’s what made her recovery possible.”

Mr. Austin’s voice softened with affection. “You’re too humble, my dear.” Then, turning to the guests nearby, he announced, “Allow me to introduce you all. This is Lilian—the doctor who saved our Rina.”

“Thanks to her skill and care, Rina regained her health. So, for my sake, I hope you’ll all look after this remarkable young woman.”

A hush fell over the room. Everyone had been curious about the mysterious doctor responsible for Rina’s miraculous recovery, but no one had anticipated someone so young and unassuming.

Suddenly, a voice from the crowd spoke up, breaking the silence. “I know her. She’s the one who saved Mr. Arron at the Zhou family’s charity banquet.”

“Ah, that’s why she looks so familiar!” another guest exclaimed.

“I was there that night as well,” a third added. “She just used a few acupuncture needles, and Mr. Arron was awake in no time.”

“Austin, honestly, knowing Ms. Lilian is a blessing for all of us,” someone else remarked.

Yulia’s eyes quickly welled with tears, her voice trembling as she spoke. “I didn’t mean to… I was misled by that photo.
