He then said to Linette and Ivanov, “Let’s go, head up. We’ve been flying all day. Get some rest, and I’ll take you around tomorrow.”

Tracy rolled her eyes at Houis and his family as they went upstairs. “Always pretending to be the good guy, just to curry favor with Dad and get more from him.”

Jackson said impatiently, “That’s enough. We’ll be staying together for the next few days, so watch what you say, so we don’t give Houis any ammunition and cause unnecessary trouble.”

Tracy huffed. “Fine, I know.” She then stood up and stretched. “Come on, Jackson, let’s go rest, too. I’m exhausted.”

Jackson glanced at Madison, then he and Tracy also left.

The crowded living room instantly became empty.
