Kelvin, standing nearby, handed Lilian a glass of juice from a passing waiter’s tray, flashing a smile. “Don’t mind her. She’s always been like this—mischievous and full of tricks.”

Just as the group was settling into lighthearted conversation, a sudden stir erupted near the entrance of the banquet hall.

Lilian nodded politely. “Please send him my regards. I’ll definitely visit when I have the time.” Then, turning back to Jill, she said, “Come on. Luna’s birthday celebration is about to start. Let’s go see what’s happening.”

With that, Lilian gracefully moved toward Luna, slipping smoothly back into the flow of the party.
