By now, my stance was crystal clear, and the streamers finally began to panic.

The unity they once displayed quickly disintegrated, and they turned on each other, hurling accusations.

Many of them started cursing Cassie, blaming her for the mess they were in, saying that if she hadn’t gotten the situation wrong, they wouldn’t have ended up in such deep trouble.

After a round of finger-pointing, they each tried to defend themselves, claiming they hadn’t broken much, and that it was the others who had caused the real damage.

But when I presented the footage from my home’s surveillance cameras, showing everything in high definition, they were silenced, unable to argue further.

In the end, each person had to compensate for the value of the items they had destroyed.

Some, desperate to avoid prison, sold everything they owned, scraping together the money for compensation before leaving in defeat.

Others, with empty pockets and no way to borrow the needed funds, were legally detained.

As for Cassie, she had caused the most damage, and the items she destroyed were the most valuable. The compensation she owed alone ran into the billions.

Faced with such an enormous sum, Cassie was at a loss. With no other option, she turned to my son.

Clinging to Timothy’s hand, she swayed her body in a boneless, pleading manner, her voice dripping with desperation as she begged:

"Tim, for the sake of all the years we’ve been together, please help me. Talk to your mom—there’s no way I can pay back this much money, not even if I sold myself!"

"And besides, we’re practically family now. You wouldn’t do this to your family, right?"

As she spoke, her large eyes filled with tears, making her look pitiful and desperate.

At this point, my son had no patience left for Cassie’s pitiful act. He roughly shook her hand off, his voice cold and cutting, "Cassie, do you have any shame? After everything you’ve done to my mom, you still have the nerve to talk about us becoming a family?"

"Do you know my dad passed young and my mom raised me all by herself?! She’s the most important person in my life, my only weak spot. I’ve never even raised my voice at her, so what gives you the right to treat her like this?"

"And do you know that when my mom saw you crying in that live stream about some supposed mistress, she called me, worried that I had wronged you, and reminded me to treat you well? And what did you do? How did you repay her?"

"The moment she hung up that call, you barged into our home and did this to her?!"

"Are you even human?"
