Lily had been worried that she was being called in for slacking off, but when she heard it was about a leak, she felt a surge of confidence.

“How should I know?” she retorted. “I wasn’t the only one working on this project.”

“Weren’t Giselle and the others working on it too?” She had casually asked around the day before and knew they were doing the same kind of work.

Evangeline didn’t argue. Instead, she handed over the files she had given to Giselle and the others.
