"Dan, was his identity really fake?" I asked him, all traces of smile, not gone from my face.
"What?" He asked, shifting uncomfortably on his seat.
"Don't try to act dumb with me, Sir, you know what I'm talking about so give me answers.
"Fine. No, his identity wasn't fake," at least he said the truth.
"So why did you lie to me?" I asked him.
"Because he's not important and I didn't want you to stress over nothing?" He was trying to lie again.
"Really? He's not important? The same person who was searching my office for only God knows what, is not important?" I asked him.
"Cara, baby calm down" he stood up, holding his hand in front of him.
"Don't call me names right now. All I want from you is the truth, and you better not lie to me," I warned him.
"So who's Samantha? Or should I say Diego?" I asked him, folding my arms. Antonio froze.
He looked at me for the longest moment then ran his fingers through his hair.
"Fuck!" He yelled.
"I asked you if there was something you wanted me to know, you said no!" I told him.
"That's because I didn't want you to know about them," he yelled.
"Well, too bad, now I do" I smiled.
"Am I that bad? Was it something I did to you?" I asked him.
"What are you talking about?" He asked back.
"There must be something wrong with me, that's why you can't trust me. You told me to trust you, I did, with all my heart, but you still don't have the slightest trust for me, or in me! What have I done to deserve that? Huh?" I tried so hard to fight the tears.
"Everything I know about you, I heard from people, people I'm not dating. People who aren't my boyfriend. Things that you were supposed to tell me, without even having to ask, you didn't tell me, now I have to rely on messages from outsiders to know you, why?" I asked him.
He walked around the desk and stood in front of me.
"Cara, I trust you," he said.
"How do I believe that, huh? How do I believe that when you've lied to me countless times? You made me believe Noah sent those messages, when you had an idea of who the real sender could be! For fucks sake you tried to lie to me right here!" I yelled.
