Yvonne stated seriously.
Sandra shot her a helpless glance. "Don't be silly. She’s a woman, just a few years older than me. You can call her Gina; it's more friendly."
"Oh," Yvonne replied.
The two of them walked through the main dining hall and took the elevator upstairs.
There were six private dining rooms on the second floor, and Sandra had booked the one at the very end.
As Yvonne followed Sandra past one of the rooms in the middle, she noticed the door was ajar while a waiter was serving food. A single glance inside was all it took for her to see the tall, imposing figure seated within.
Yvonne stopped in her tracks, staring silently into the room.
Inside, Bennett was sitting beside Emma, who was chatting with a woman around her age. Next to that woman sat a beautiful young girl, adorned in jewels and pearls, clearly the type who had been sheltered by her family her whole life.
"What are you looking at?" Sandra asked, noticing Yvonne had stopped. She followed her gaze and saw the cheerful scene in the room.
"Is Mr. Bennett Thompson... on a blind date?"
"I don't care what he's doing," Yvonne said, her expression turning cold as she turned and walked away.
Inside the room, as if sensing something, Bennett instinctively glanced toward the door, catching a glimpse of a fleeting figure in pale pink.
Even from just that silhouette, Bennett recognized her instantly.
He stood up, grabbing his phone from the table. "Excuse me, I need to use the restroom."
Bennett stepped out of the room, but the hallway was already empty.
He took out his phone and dialed Yvonne's number. He called twice; the first went unanswered, and the second was immediately declined.
Hearing the busy signal, Bennett couldn't help but chuckle. The girl might be young, but she certainly had a temper.
Standing in the empty hallway, Bennett began typing a message on his phone.
