Thus, that afternoon, she had popped one candy after another into her mouth.

Andre was starting to worry. His son didn't have cavities yet, but his wife might get them first. "Mia, save some candy for tomorrow. Eat something else today."

Mia frowned. "Honey, you don't have anything else here. I'm sick of the snacks in the breakroom."

Andre paused. "...What do you want to eat? I'll buy it for you."

By the time the snacks were bought and brought back, Mrs. Cedillo had already finished all the candy.

Upon hearing this, Molly asked, "Should I be thanking you for your thoughtful intentions?"

Mia replied, "You're welcome. It's the least I could do as your sister."

When they got home that night, Mia was hauled back to the bedroom by her husband, who stood over her while she brushed her teeth. "Brush properly. Did you eat ten pieces of candy today?"

Mia's mouth was covered in white foam. "No, only nine."
