I was busy working on a project when my cell phone buzzed, I looked at the screen and it was a text from Waleed.
Hottie: What's up?
Yep, I saved his number as, Hottie, first I had saved it as, Arrogant CEO, but since I had seen him work out in the gym last weekend, and no matter how much I tried, I couldn't take out that sexy picture of my mind, I changed it to, Hottie.
Mia: You just dropped me half an hour ago .
Hottie: So, can't I ask about your well being?
Mia: Come to the point, will you?
Hottie: I am missing you.
A smile broke on my lip, what was I going to do about him, it was really too hard not to fall for him when he kept doing things like this.
"Mia, I want you to go to the resort site with Kabir, there is some problem there, you need to sort it out, I
would have come with you, but I have an important meeting", Daniyal said standing at the cubicle entrance.
"Okay boss", I said nodding my head.
"You leave in half-hour okay?", He warned.
"Yep", I replied.
Mia: I miss you too, ok. I need to go to the site because there is some problem.
H: Who are you going with?
I rolled my eyes, this was not going as I thought.
Mia: Kabir
H: Why is Daniyal not going with you?
I was getting annoyed by his questions, was he going to poke his nose in my job all the time like this.
Mia: He has another meeting.
H:Don't leave until I tell you, okay. Mia: I am leaving in 25 mins.
H:I told you not to leave until I tell you.
Gone was the charming man and the arrogant Waleed was back. Why does he always try to boss me around?
Thank God, I didn't choose to work with him, he would have driven me crazy. I saved my design and then shut down the system.
I went to the restroom to freshen up, and when I came out it was nearly time to leave, Kabir was already waiting for me near the cubicle.
" Hey, how are you?" He asked cheerfully.
"Fine", I replied, picking up my handbag and cellphone. " And your hubby?" He asked.
"He is good", I replied following him to the elevator.
Kabir pressed the button and we waited in silence for the elevator to reach our floor. I was looking at the screen flashing numbers of the floor on which the elevator was, impatient.
I would call Waleed on the way, I thought as the elevator reached our floor and the door started opening. And when I saw the person that walked out of the elevator my temper soared.
" Mr. Kamal, what a pleasant surprise", Kabir said, forwarding his hand to Waleed. "The pleasure is mine", He smiled looking at me.
I wanted to scratch the smile off his face, the possessive bastard was here just to stop me from going to the site with Kabir.
" I was here to meet Daniyal, you guys going somewhere?" He asked, acting innocent. "We were leaving for the site", Kabir replied, while I stood silent shooting daggers at him.
" Would you mind if I stole my wife for some time", Waleed said sliding his arm around my waist and pulling me towards him.
"Not at all", He replied.
Waleed led me towards Daniyal's office, I wanted to pull myself, away from him but I couldn't have done that without creating a scene in front of my colleagues.
" Hey, Daniyal", He said as he entered Daniyal's cabin.
"Waleed, what a surprise man. I didn't remember we agreed to meet", He said smiling.
" Actually, I was thinking of visiting the resort site, and I was wondering if you can spare Mia, for one day", He said, still standing with his arm around my waist.
"Ohh, sure. Actually, Kabir and Mia were on the way to the site and if you are going I think I will tell Kabir, there is no need for him to go", Daniyal said as he picked up the receiver to call Kabir.
"Actually, had to reschedule a couple of meetings and cancel a few appointments", He said with a goofy grin.
" Waleed", I exclaimed in disbelief.
"What? My mind would have been diverted to you, what you were doing? Were you alright, or not? Or if your colleague was flirting with you? I won't have been able to concentrate on work either way. So it's better I am with you, at least I will have peace of mind", He replied in his CEO tone.
I hated it when he acted the cool and sexy billionaire, honestly, I loved it, it just turned me on and I was afraid of this fact.
"We can have lunch at Abdul's while returning", He tried to bribe me and my mouth water on the mere mention of the Dhaba (roadside restaurant on a highway).
"Okk, don't think I forgave you, I just don't want to die out of boredom in this long drive", I said suppressing my smile.
"Admit it you can't resist me", He said with a smirk.
"Cocky", I said rolling my eyes.
He chuckled at my response and left my hand as he diverted his attention to the heavy traffic.
We listened to songs while driving and Waleed now and then tried to talk me into giving him a smooch, which I obviously declined, though I was tempted I knew one thing was going to lead to the other and I didn't want to lose my virginity in a car.
We reached the site in nearly two hours, taking a round of the construction going on, I was quite impressed
by the speed of the construction, the last time when I was here the foundation was being dug up but now the structure above the ground was visible.
Waleed was very professional while dealing with the site engineers and supervisors, completely in his CEO form, it was kind of hot. I was looking at him mesmerized, the way he carried himself, with the ease and grace was amazing.
His firm tone and his don't mess me attitude was enough to make me drool, he was so hot and he was all mine.
It took nearly three hours to deal with the problems and to take a tour of the site, Waleed asked me if I wanted to take a walk on the beach with him. And how could I decline such a romantic offer?
We walked on the beach with his arms around my waist and my body pressed to his and my head on his shoulder and our spare hands intertwined with each other.
We didn't speak at all and were just drinking in the presence of each other, this was the most romantic thing I had ever done in my life and with none other than yours truly Waleed Kamaal. I didn't want to leave but I was starting to feel hungry and my stomach was growling.
"We need to get you something to eat", Waleed said smiling and kissing my forehead as we walked back to his car.
The food was better than I remembered, I had eaten more than I should have, and was barely able to keep myself awake.
We stopped at the village to meet Dada, he was still at the school, Dada showed me around the school enthusiastically. He asked us to go to their home with him but Waleed apologized saying he had a business dinner and we would come and visit him on the weekend.
