I got into the steaming hot shower, my muscles relaxing under the heat. The only soap he had in there was a bottle of 3-in-1 shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash. I hate men. My poor hair.

I didn't have many options, so I used it anyways. The mate attraction is so strong, I wasn't able to recognize the smell of his body wash, since the smell of him overpowered everything else.

After taking my time relaxing under the hot water, I finally got out. I dried off, and put on the long sleeve shirt and sweatpants.

I debated putting on the cloak and mask, but I knew he would just make me take it off. I stuffed the cloak and mask in one of the many cupboards underneath a towel, hoping that he would forget about them and not try to take them away.

I fixed my long blonde hair in the mirror so that it covered my semi-ear.

When I stepped out of the bathroom, Alpha Cain was undressed, only in boxers, sitting up against his headboard on the bed.

When he looked up at me, his eyes widened. "You're perfect." I stared blankly at him, fighting the urge to roll my eyes. "That's okay, you don't need to say thanks. You can tell me tomorrow after I mark you."

He probably thought that would get a reaction out of me, but I acted like I didn't hear him. I would be gone by tomorrow. I could tell that the glass on the windows was thin, and I would jump from off the 4th floor if I had to. He had no idea how far I'm willing to go.

I laid down on the floor, ready to go to bed. Alpha Cain sighed heavily, and I could hear him getting off the bed and walking over to where I was laying on the ground.

He picked me up from off the ground, and I didn't bother fighting him. I knew he wouldn't let me sleep on the floor, but I had to at least try. "Please stop fighting me, Ares." Against my will, my heart quickened when he said my name. The Moon Goddess made it so hard to fight the mate pull.

He dumped me on the bed and tucked me in. After he turned off the lights, he got in next to me, and I stiffened as he pulled me in close to him. "Don't fight the mate bond, pup. You were made for me."

If that were true, then I wouldn't have fallen asleep dreaming of different weapons to kill him with.

I woke up sleeping better than I had my whole life. I would never admit that to Alpha Douchebag though.

Speaking of His Royal Assheadness, he was still fast asleep, and still had his heavy ass arms wrapped around me.

Not giving a shit if he woke up or not, I untangled myself and got up to go piss.

I barred my teeth at him, openly challenging him.

His grip on my neck tightened, and I shoved the blade further into his neck, going so far as to draw blood.

This went on for what felt like hours, until he released my throat and slapped the knife out of my hand.

To my surprise, he left the room. Fuck yeah. Violence really does solve all problems, not words.

I finally went to the bathroom, and put on my cloak and cloth mask over the bottom half of my face.

Alpha Cain wasn't back when I got out of the bathroom, so I decided to just leave the room and maybe I'd get lucky and could just walk out of the front doors.

I stepped out of his room, and went down all 4 flights of stairs without seeing a single soul.
