The moment Addison arrived, the warriors felt as if a heavy burden had finally been lifted from their shoulders.

Seeing their expressions, Addison immediately climbed up the wall to assess the situation for herself.

The warriors and the Alpha leading them had been separated and surrounded. No matter how much they tried to regroup, the monsters and wild animals worked together to keep them apart, constantly attacking from every direction and preventing them from helping one another.

The battlefield had turned into complete chaos.

The Alpha at the front was already covered in wounds. Even with the natural healing ability of his wolf form, the sheer number of injuries he had sustained was beginning to overwhelm him. His massive wolf body was now limping slightly, his movements no longer as swift as before.

The other warriors were in even worse condition.

Some of them had deep gashes across their bodies, while others struggled just to remain standing as they desperately fought to survive.

Seeing this, anger instantly surged through Addison.

These were her people.

Her gaze turned cold as she looked back toward the warbear still standing below the wall. He simply stared up at her, looking almost innocent, as if he had nothing to do with the chaos outside, while foolishly waiting for her order.

"Get to the front line and provide support!" Addison growled angrily.

However, even as she gave the order, she knew it still wouldn’t be enough.

No matter how powerful the warbear was, he could only reinforce one section of the wall. And without even checking the other sides, Addison already knew that the situation elsewhere was likely just as dire. The section she was currently at was simply the most desperate because of the monstrous bear rampaging through their ranks.

But if creatures of that level were appearing in other areas of the wall as well, defending the entire perimeter would become incredibly difficult.

Still, Addison couldn’t just keep pulling prisoners out of Alpha Hue’s prison to reinforce their forces.

She had already taken one.

Doing it repeatedly would be pushing things too far.

Besides, not every prisoner was like the warbear. Many of them were rogues who were unpredictable and impossible to trust. Even if she released them, there was no guarantee they wouldn’t turn on her people the moment they regained their freedom.

The only reason she was willing to make a deal with the warbear was because he came from a different race.

If they executed him and it later turned out that he held some important position among his kind, it could easily ignite a conflict between the two races. If that happened, Alpha Hue would be placed in an extremely difficult position, and Addison might not be able to shield him from the consequences.

But if things were handled properly, the situation could instead become an opportunity.

Helping the warbear now could earn them a favor from his kind in the future. If her people ever fell on hard times, that connection might become a lifeline.

More importantly, the warbear was rational.

Rogues were not.

Negotiating with him was far safer than trying to control a pack of unstable rogues.

"Roger that!" the warbear replied.

Without wasting another moment, he began climbing the wall.

Addison watched him with a hint of confusion, but the warbear didn’t even glance in her direction. Once he reached the top, he paused briefly and looked down, silently assessing the chaotic battlefield below.

Then he jumped.

Midway through the fall, before his body even reached the ground, his form suddenly expanded and twisted as he shifted.

By the time he landed, a massive black bear had already taken his place.
