***POV - Melaena
"You ok?" He walks up to me and I bite my lower lip. He cocks his head to the side when I don t answer but just keeps on staring at that perfectly sculpted chest. He puckers up a smile and I feel a blush rush to my cheeks and I quickly turn my head feeling slightly embarrassed for being caught drooling.
"Maybe you should get cleaned up too. I'll put some clothes for you on my bed." He walks to the cupboard and drops the towel, exposing his blessedly naked bums of steel. This man is not shy, and with a body like that, why should he be? He pulls on some grey tracksuit pants, hanging low around his waist. His skin is still damp and I swallow my desire back. Why couldn't I feel like this about Ren or Alejandro or anybody else for that matter? Why him? He puts some clothes on the bed and hands me a clean towel.
"I'll go heat up the food." He walks down the stairs and I quickly strip and jump into the shower. I let the water stream over my rundown but somewhat horny body, my brain again contemplating everything I learned tonight. I take the soap, thinking about Damion using it on his body moments ago, and then I scrub my skin and wash my hair with the shampoo. It smells masculine and earthy like Damion. I turn off the water and wrap the towel around me. I look in my bag to find a clean panty. I slide into the oversized black T-shirt that Damion placed on the bed for me.
I walk downstairs, smelling the food, and my tummy grumbles in anticipation. Damion is busy taking out plates, his back towards me, and I take a moment to encompass the ripple movements of his defined muscles. I pick up my phone from the counter and walk closer to him before speaking.
"Can I help with something?" He turns around and then he does a double-take, his eyes moving slowly over my body, dressed in his shirt. His eyes linger on my legs and he swallows slowly. I notice his eyes turning darker. Could it be that I have the same effect on him as he has on me? Nope, all he sees is a vagina he can have his way with.
"My eyes are up here." He moves his eyes slowly back up and then they hook into mine. For an indefinite amount of time, we stay like that, just staring at each other.
"It's just the first time I've seen a girl wearing my clothes, and for some reason, it looks way better on you than me." I feel a blush moving up from my neck and slowly turn around so he doesn't notice.
"Do you want to eat outside?" I nod and he hands me a plate filled with chicken pie, potato salad, carrots, and garlic bread. I look at the plate confused.
"I thought your mom brought take-aways?" He laughs, and I love the way it sounds.
"My mom doesn't do take-aways."
"Oh, I think I might just be in love with your mom." I take a big bite out of the bread giving a loud satisfying moan.
"It's so good." I talk with my mouth still full of food. Damion looks at me pulling his mouth. We sit at a wooden table with benches in the closed veranda, overlooking both the pool and the ocean.
"So, if I make you a meal, topping this one, will you then fall in love with me?" His green eyes are layered, so I can't see if he s serious or not.
"It's not that easy, it will take you at least four meals, maybe five." I wink at him, playing along.
"Five it is. Does breakfast count?" I just shake my head.
"You're something else, you know."
"I'll take that as a compliment." He wiggles his eyebrows and gives me a big BEAST-smirk. I take another bite, and I moan again softly this time, closing my eyes. Damn this food is good.
"Can you please stop doing that?" I open one eye and look at him.
"What? This food is delicious." I gesture around with my fork in my hand. He looks at me with a meaningful shamefaced expression.
"Mel, it sounds ... seductive and makes me ... eh ..." He shifts his position looking rather uncomfortable and then I grasp what he means. I look at him bug-eyed and then drop my gaze with some faint curiosity to his crop. His pants have a definite bulge protruding.
"Oh, sorry. NOT! Mmm, mmm, mmm," I just can't let this opportunity slip through my fingers to get him back. He swears softly and pushes onto his private parts with his hand, then takes the plates back to the kitchen and props them in the washer. I check my phone only to find I've missed a few messages. I open the first one.
Kiara: You sleeping over?
I type back.
Mel: Explain later #facetofacegirltalk
The next message is from my stalker again. I open it while holding my breath, psycho murdering family.
D: Mayday! Mayday! Trouble is coming.
Don't he have anything better to do? I throw my hands in the air and let out a scream before falling onto the sofa. I gaze into the fire, watching the flickering of the flames, the shadows it creates, feeling the hate gripping my heart and I type a reply.
Mel: Show your face coward!
He answers almost immediately.
D: Soon.
I throw the phone violently onto the sofa just as Damion walks in. He grabs it and looks at the message, but doesn t say a word. Instead, he sits down next to me, covering us with a warm blanket, pulling me into his arms so we're lying down, spooning me from the back. He strokes my arm and although we're not speaking, it's not awkward at all. It just feels as if this is how it's supposed to be. How can I feel so comfortable in the arms of somebody I hate? Well, if I have to be honest, I think that the hate kite has flown.
I'm starting to think that I've never hated Damion Grimm. But I, now more than ever, have to keep this man at a distance cause he's extremely dangerous. But my body disagrees with that statement and overruns my mind. Yep, Haley was right ... the body can't think and is dumb as a donkey. Right here, right now is exactly where my body wants to be, in Damion Grimm's arms. My mind warns me he's a player and man-whore - the 'evil one' and trouble – that he s gonna break my heart and steal my soul. BUT right now I don't want to listen. Right now I feel safe and comfortable. Right now my heart is just a ticking organ. Right now I just want to be. I close my eyes and wiggle my body closer to him.
"Mel! Do you want to kill me?" He whispers and then I feel his manhood pressing against my back.
"Sorry." I whimper, keeping my body as still as possible. He kisses my head softly again and pulls me tighter against his body, his hand trailing up and down my arm, leaving goosebumps as far as it goes.
"Don't worry, I'm pretty much used to being blue-balled by you."
"So, is this how you pick up women? Feeding them good food so that they're too full to resist."
"Excuse me?"
"I'm not stupid or blind, you are what you are. But I'm not your type."
"What type is that?" He scuffed.
"Slutty brunettes."
"Are you sure about that?" He cocks his brow slightly. I feel my body stiffen, my heart missing more than one beat, as jealousy sticks its ugly fingers down my throat. I know how I sound, but I don't care.
"Who is she?" Enrique starts walking around the table.
Chloe, Thalia ... Thalia, Chloe ... Chloe, Thalia ... I chant the answer in my head.
"It's complicated, bro. I don't want to jinx anything. Now get the fuck out." Enrique laughs his evil laugh and aims straight at the sliding doors. He knows and he s going to find me any minute now and panicking I run around the corner of the house. I push my back tight against the wall, holding my breath. The coldness of the concrete sweeps through the thin T-shirt material, but I m not even feeling it.
All I m aware of is Enrique s footsteps leading up to the corner, stopping inches from where I m trying to be invisible. I m sure he s going to hear the thunder of my eagerly beating heart any second now. But then he walks back to the house.
"Shit, I think hell just froze over." His voice is further away so I count to ten and risk peeping around the corner and see him leaving through the door after the girls.
I walk into the kitchen with a big smile, feeling the rush from almost getting caught spilling over me. Damion pours coffee in the cups that almost cost us our lives and then he shoves me up the stairs and into his room.
"We're going to try something new." I look at him with a baffled face and he pulls a sweet innocent smile and hits me on my ass.
"I'm not going to sleep with you just so you can keep your manhood from falling off."
"Well, if you don't want to sleep, we could always stay awake." He winks at me while pulling me into his bed and his arms, before covering us with a quilt. I lie as if frozen, my head and hand on his chest. What is it about this boy that wants me to break all the rules without even batting an eyelid?
"So, what did you mean then?" He coughs sheepishly and I can see he's a bit unnerved.
"I've never slept with a girl before." I cock my head, not believing a word I hear. There's no way this man is still the big V. Hell no.
"You're still a virgin?" I spit it out sarcastically, not sure what he meant with that statement. He laughs out loud, his normal self-confidence back again.
"No, oh hell, no Mel. I just never SLEPT with a girl before." He sighs and tries to explain, probably seeing the total confusion written all over my face. How is it possible that this man never slept with a woman, any woman?
"Firstly, I have rules to keep me ... let's just say that a girl in my bed, sleeping in my arms is not allowed, so this is going to be a first for me." Suddenly a little warm feeling fills my already confused heart. I'm his first at something.
"So you want to tell me that no girl ever slept in this house?"
"Well, no, never. Except for Thalia and mom, but that's different." And the warm feeling is gone, replaced with a freezing one, just like that. He twists my hair around his finger as if he didn't just break away a small piece of my heart
His hand moves up and cups my breast again like when we were on the sofa, but it's as if he's doing it inconsequential, his breathing steady as if he's almost asleep. This time I let my mind win, so I remove his hand and place it back on my tummy, holding it there.
"Damion," I whisper softly in the dark turning my head on his chest to look up at his face. His eyes are closed and he looks so peaceful – like a demonic angel.
"Um."
"I'm if you touch my boob like that again I'll chew off your balls," I murmur before I close my eyes.
"Sounds kinky!" He mumbles sleepily and I can't help but smile a little. Cocky ass. I listen to his rhythmic breathing and close my eyes happily.
