My jaw dropped. "I have my own walk in closet, sweet!" I mumbled excitedly.
I left the closet and went to the other door that was on the right side of my door I came in. I opened it, showing my own bathroom; yellow walls, a shower, and a sink. I looked under the sink which had two towels, a tooth brush, a hair brush, curly iron, and deodorant.
I went back to my room, opening my suitcase and pulled out some Pj's. I slipped on my blue top, and pink pants. I decided to take a shower in the morning since I'm really exhausted.
As I was about to head to bed my eyes spotted a window that was huge, near a desk that I didn't notice yet.
I walked toward the window, and opened it feeling the crispy air blow right in my face, it felt good.
I want to shift right now, but I'm to tired to do it, plus I don't want someone to walk in while I'm shifting midway.
I thought maybe a early run in the morning will do me good.
I grabbed my suit case, and dig out my old clothes and put them in the closet. I also grabbed my nature book, setting it on the night stand. I grabbed my dagger where I placed it under my pillow, like always.
I placed my suitcase in my walk-in closet, and stepped out. All my lights are still on, so I used my power to turn it off.
I raised my hand out, then my hands started to glow which I always thought was odd. I closed my eyes for a second, then open them. "Off." All lights went off and I smiled, then I walked to my bed, and laid down.
First I just laid there, looking up at the plain ceiling. My thoughts keep going to the negative part.
Would they keep me or get rid of me?
I do like this family, but their keeping a secret, and I will figure it out sooner or later. I grab my necklace around my neck, and for once, I felt happy, but I did feel kind of lonely.
I closed my eyes again, but this time I didn't open them. I let the darkness consume me. I let out a deep sigh, then I was gone.
I woke up by loud knock at my door which woke me up instantly. I glanced around, realizing I wasn't in my room, then it came to me.
I was adopted.
I punched his arm gently as he jogged over to me while winking. "Well come on let's go before anything gets us. Plus, these woods are very protected." He started running on the open path that led us into the deep forest.
I kept a few paces behind Tim because I know if I get to excited I might turn into a cheetah by accident. So, I stayed a bit behind.
"Not far from the house is a lake where mostly my friends and I go when it's in the summer. It's quite nice and a good place to go on dates or to be alone." He glanced at me, wiggling his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes, chuckling at that idea.
Soon enough we came to a stop, panting a little.
We started talking about his family, and what we have in common which we don't have anything in common. He even asked me what animals I got close to see when I was in the woods at the orphanage. I was bit nervous, but I explained more of adventures.
I was about ask Tim something when I noticed he wasn't paying attention to me, his eyes were glued on the forest with a confused look.
