When I said that, John and Star both stood. "You didn't tell us that at the meeting." John said, his eyes turning black.
I put my head down between my knees. "When were you ever going to tell us Light?" Star said while rubbing John's arm, then kissing his cheek.
"I'm sorry I should've told you, but there is no choice. He's a warlock, I'm something that is way different. My mom told me that someday I might have to give my life on something and I choose you guys.
I'm trying my best to find Zach, he's out there waiting for me to find him and he doesn't know what I am still, but he knows I'm a wolf, nothing else. If Marcus doesn't let Zach go, that means he wants something else. It's like a trap, but I don't know what he is really after." I said looking at John who was trying to get his breathing down.
"So, what does that mean? He wants something, but what? What can he want from us that he already doesn't have." I kept thinking when a throat cleared.
I turned to Dr. Caleb who had his hands in his lap and feet crossed. "I might know what he is after, but I'm not sure." I scoot closer to his desk as he spoke.
"I met warlocks before, their not friendly. Their powers are stronger than anything, but its a curse to them all. They never wanted to be a warlock not even the creator, but every family has their differences. One family to another that is cursed is very dangerous to our world." I interrupt him before he spoke again.
"My uncle. He once was human, but my parents never told me about him being a warlock. I thought he was dead, because my mom and dad told me he was gone. I only met him once, that was years ago. Then, I met him in the woods two days ago, he told me another warlock pursued him about my father being more powerful than him cause my dad and Marcus are brothers. And Marcus got very jealous, and the man gave his power to him. How can that happen?" I said.
Dr. Caleb scratched his chin, then said. "Well, I never in my life be told that a warlock could give their powers away, but it could happen. So, your uncle was once human, but now he is a warlock." He got up from his chair and quickly went to his book shelves, picking a book. He came back and placed it on his desk.
"This is the book of warlocks. It shows how you defeat one, but there is a catch. There is nothing in this book that tells about a warlock that can give their powers up. So, you can't find about that. Light, my dear. Take it, read about them. Something in you knows about them, read to find out. Find Zach, do what you must, even if it kills you. Be strong," I got up and hugged him tight.
"Thank you Dr. Caleb. Thank you." I whispered in his ear. He hugged me back.
Star and John went out the door, and I followed them. When we got into the other room, Lilly was sitting up on the bed rubbing her eyes.
She looked up so fast I thought she might break her neck. She started crying, and jumped off the bed and ran to her mom and dad who both started crying.
I got in bed with her where she cuddled next to my side, and I slept.
Dreams are dreams, but sometimes it could be real.
Like always.
Zach's POV
They haven't fed me or given me water in three days and I'm hungry, also thirsty.
I'm still chained up against the wall, I can't feel my legs or arms, there so numb. I got cuts that are on my wrist, and my bare feet are sore.
