Tim pulled the girl next to him and they sat quietly. John stood up from his desk and looked at the girl. "Hello, I'm John the Alpha of this pack. What were you doing on my land?" John said in his Alpha voice.
The girl shifted uncomfortable in her seat and spoke. "I ran away." She said quietly.
"And what is your name child?" John said sitting back down in his chair.
She looked up and spoke clearly. "My name is Marissa Donald, Alpha." Marissa said.
"Please call me John, but why were you running away?" John said leaning on his desk.
"Um, they kicked me out." She said a little to quickly.
I heard from her mind, she's lying. I got up and growled at her. Tim got up and stepped in front of her.
I bared my teeth at him to stand aside. Tim stood his ground, but I had another problem.
Marissa been beaten, raped, cut with wolfbane, and tortured. They didn't kick her out, she just ran away for her safety.
Marissa was pretty skinny from what I'm looking at, they didn't even feed her right. Tim growled at me, so I just lay back down and put my head on my paws.
Tim sat back down and put a protective hand around her shoulders. She looked nervousness and I hope so, she shouldn't lie.
She looked at me, but I didn't look back.
John cleared his throat and everyone looked at him. "Is there a reason why they kicked you out?" John said.
Marissa looked at me, but my eyes were closed, but I did feel her eyes on me. "They just kicked me out." She said again.
I felt a tiny hand on my head, I opened my eyes to see Lilly petting me, so I closed my eyes again.
Lilly kept petting me as John asked her questions. "Are you sure?" She nodded.
I can hear her thoughts clearly like, 'I hope no one knows.' And, 'Why do they have a wild wolf in there home?' And, 'I can't believe I found my mate, I love him already.'
"I have a question. Why do you have a wild wolf as a pet?" I chuckle out loud and she looked at me. "Also, why did she just chuckle?" Marissa said, shocked.
Lilly kept petting me, but that didn't stop me from growling. Tim growled back at me as I stood up and bared my teeth.
I got off her and stood in front of Marissa. I lowered my head and growled. That's when Tim came in and saw Janet on the floor, then growled.
Tim went to Marissa and helped her to her seat. I sat down by Marissa's chair as she sat down.
Tim sat on her right side and looked at her with love in his eye's. Lilly fed me chicken and I ate in peace.
I can hear Janet's thoughts, and it was dirty. I growled and everyone looked at me, expect Tim. I lay my head back down on my paws and still getting fed by Lilly.
After dinner, Tim showed Marissa to her room which was Tim's room, but it was a spare room. Tim didn't want to go home so John gave him a room. I sat in front of their door and just waited.
Tim's POV
She sat on the bed looking around the room, playing with the bed sheets with her delicate hands.
I don't blame her though, she was nervous, like
me. "If you want, I'll leave. This is your room anyway." I said about to open the door, but stopped when a hand grabbed me.
