"I'm fine. I'm sorry I haven't been here. I've had some trouble on the way." I said remembering the war that is coming soon. "So, where's the cubs?" I said looking, but I didn't see them. I looked back to see King with a sad expression. "Where are they King?" I said getting worried if someone hurt them.
"My lovely Queen, and cubs... are gone." He turned his big head away from me.
"What, what happen?" I was getting angry now.
"One day, me and my cubs were playing while my Queen was cleaning around the cage. A couple of people came in and took my cubs away, I tried getting them, but somehow they shot something at me that made me go to sleep. But before I fell into consciousness I saw they did the same to my Queen, and took them both. I woke up here in my cage still, with no one to wake me." He got up and walked away from me.
I followed him to see him sitting on a rock where once his Queen used to sleep and watched the kids play. "I have nothing to live for, nothing. Their gone forever." He does have something to live for, his family might be gone, but I'm here for him.
"You have me remember, but don't worry I'll find out where your family is, okay?" He nodded his big head. "So Light, why are you here anyway?" The hard part.
"Well, there is a war coming at the end of the month and I need help. I was wondering if you could be by my side and help me defeat my uncle. You don't have to, but I'm going to ask everyone here to help me." I said to King. He looked at me with fear, anger, surprised.
"Your uncle is having a war with you, but he's your uncle why would he do that to you?!" He got up standing next to me.
"I know for a fact that he wants the curse that's on him to vanish." I said. "What curse?" He asked me. "A warlock gave him their powers and right now the person is human at the moment. My uncle wants to give it to someone and I know who he wants to give it to." And I wasn't lying about that.
"Who?" King asked looking at me. "Me. He wants the dark magic in me. When it's in me my hair will turn black and my eyes will turn into a red color, like blood." I said as a tear ran down my cheek. King licked my cheek and tried to comfort me. It kind of helped.
"You don't have to fight with me, Janet or any of you who agreed with her. I just want to d-." I was interrupted by her.
"You want to do what. Watch everyone die, as you can walk away." She said crossing her arms. King growled next to me louder. "I hope your uncle kills you, cause if he doesn't. I'll kill you myself." I heard another growl went through the crowd. Zach walked up to me and pulled me to him.
"That's enough Janet. I'll help her fight till I die." His words brought quilt inside me. Janet didn't even flinch as Zach's growl.
"Zach, do you even know what she's doing to you. She's getting you killed. If you die who is going to be our Alpha, your father won't live forever you know. Who's going to be the next Alpha? Huh?" She said coming towards him.
