She looked scared and she should be. She may be my adopted mother, but she shouldn't have done that.

"When I tell King about this. He'll be broken. You took his Cubs and his mate! He won't be able to see them grow, ever." I said upset.

Mary looked down at the floor. I got up and walked to the door, but stopped. "King may also die in battle, and he won't get to say goodbye, because of you." Then I walked out.

As I walked out into the the cloudless sun that won't appear anytime soon, so I just sat in the snow and laid down. I might be wearing a two piece outfit, but I didn't feel cold, at all.

Warm air watched over me, making me sneeze a little.

I can hear voices everywhere, words that I never will hear again after the battle. I know what your thinking.

Am I going to die in the war, no, but I'll disappear and never return home. I know what I'm going to do in the war. I don't have to ask Star to read the future, I already know.

My life is something I can't control. The power that's in my vines, my heart that won't stop beating or maybe I won't die, but at the end.

There is always something new, or old.

Remembering that there is only two days left, then the war will start.

I sat up from the snowy ground and rubbed my eyes.

I watched my animal friends practice their fighting.

I stood up, feeling dizzy. I took a deep breath and reopen my eyes. I smelt smoke and blood.

I fell to the ground that was covered with ashes.

I was crying, I know this isn't real, but in my own eyes it looked real.

Is this our future? Will Marcus win?

No, I won't let that happen.

I closed my eyes and reopen them again. Seeing Zach in front of me screaming in my face. I can't hear him, in fact I can't hear anything.

All of a sudden the animals roared and bowed. I felt power run through me. I heard someone scream, then everything went black, again.

Zach's POV

I watched Lightning pass out, collapsing once again.

Her body glowed a gold color as she laid in the snow. Her body was all light, then she opened her eyes and they were white as snow, but a hint of gold.

She stood up slowly and all the animals watched her every move, then their eyes glowed.

I was blind for a few minutes until the light vanished. I turned around to see Lightning in armor.

Her armor is gold and sliver and white feathers that flow from her left side. A pendent on her armored chest shaped as a bird and it was gold.

Lightning lifted her arm and she had her dagger in her hand, but it transformed into a weapon that I haven't seen before and a shield appeared on her right arm.

It had patterns of gold, and a symbol that I couldn't understand.

Her brown hair was all over the place. The light died down and the real Light was back.

All the animals looked around and looked back at Lightning. She was beautiful, like a goddess.
