"What are you wearing?" She asked with distaste in her voice. I laughed a little. "My dear Janet. I'm a Goddess and very powerful, also a warrior. I'm here to ask you something and when you answered I'll tell you the truth of that question. Understand." She nodded at me.
"Are you going to fight with my uncle by his side?" She smirked and nodded. I gave her a sad expression and she was confused. "Janet, listen and listen closely. As much as I hate you, I don't want you to die, but my uncle will kill you. He knows that your his mate, but he doesn't care. He'll kill you the moment you first join side. I'm asking you, what you make is your choice, but chose wisely. Do you hear me." I said to her.
She shook her head. She got up from the floor and grabbed the cells bars. She yelped in pain as she realized that the bars are silver. She pulled her hands to her side and looked at me. "You don't understand. He loves me, he won't kill me. He'll kill you, and I will watch you suffer as you die in pain." She laughed.
I got up so fast that I didn't realized that my Gun-blade was in my hand already with my shield on my right. Janet's eyes shown fear as my eye's changed into my Queen Cobra's eyes, slit as ever and more sharper. She yelped in fear as she scooted back into the wall behind her.
"How dare you talk to me like that. All I'm saying is chose wisely. If you want to die, your mate will do it for you. Marcus has no feelings for you. He's dark, for crying out loud he's a warlock." She flinched as my voice raised. "Your lying. He cares for me." She was now crying her heart out.
I fling my arm out and my Gun-blade disappeared, also my shield. I turned around to back up stairs, but stopped. "I hope you chose well Janet, because the next thing you do is getting yourself killed." I said over my shoulder, then I left. As I made it up stairs I was greeted by everyone. They congratulated on me being for what I am. A witch, a Shifter, a warrior, and more importantly a Goddess.
We talked about how we are going to fight. Tomorrow we will be practice fighting. War is coming and I'm ready.
Lightning's POV
"So that's what we are going to do tomorrow?" John asked as I nodded. We were planning on our attack against my uncle.
As I entered my room, I walked to the center of my room. I held my hand out and a bright light came through my hand, then a big swirl vortex appeared in front of me. It glowed as I looked at it closely. Then the voice that I kept hearing came back. "Dear Lightning, this is a time gate. That you can travel anywhere you like. Past, Present, and Future or any places you want. All you have to do is say the name of place or the person your talking about and it will guide you there." Then the voice vanished.
"Take me to Uncle Marcus's place." I spoke. Then, I stepped through it and everything was around me, like
trees, houses, buildings, and farms. It was beautiful.
I felt like I was flying. I passed everything till I came upon a building that was broken down, but it was a house, like a mansion. I floated inside, as I touch the floor I felt my body grow solid. I walked forward to a door and I quietly opened it, oh what the heck. I slammed my foot on the door and it busted open.
