Talia POV.
You never know how much time would means for you until you do one bad decision, one bad weekend that all it took for me to hate my job, to hate this place to hate coming to the job I once enjoyed, that's all it took one weekend, without anyone's knowledge. I couldn't come back right away, I called in sick for a full week, but I was under the threat of being fired if I don't come back so I did.
I didn't have to tell Felix much, he founded out on his own what happened, he knew something bad had happened I didn't tell him what it was, just called it a bad experience, he didn't push me to say anything, all I got was a hug from the boss and a promise that he's here if needed.
I refused to go to the cafeteria anymore, I eat on my desk, they tried to talk to me but I refused to even listen, they didn't listen to me when I yelled my words why should I listen to them. Felix who was sure something was wrong with me, he asked me who abused me, he saw me jump one time when the door shut close from the wind that was all it took him to ask who abused me, just a shutting sound and me jumping up. I told him no one, but he kept asking and asking, day after day until I broke down to tears and told him what happened.
"I agreed on a weekend with them" I say through my tears, he didn't need to ask whom, he knew who my friends where, and I knew he didn't like it. But now he got extremely red and angry, I could see smoke going out of his ears with how angry he is.
"I'm killing them! You hear me I'm gonna kill them for touching one of mine" he says, I was happy he count me as one of his, although I'm not a little, I couldn't let him hurt them it was my fault.
"No Felix please it was my fault" I beg with him, I went there with no official contract, I broke our number one rule, always be safe. They could sell me to human trafficking and no one would've known where I am, this company is all about being safe and happy, I was neither.
"I don't know whether to punish you right now Talia or hug you" he says with a big sigh, I was hoping for hug since I wasn't in for another beating.
"Come here, it's over now" he says offering me a hug, I ran toward it enjoying the love and attention I'm getting even if it's short lived.
"Eat little one" Marco was the first one to notice that I'm just moving my food around and not really eating.
"Not hungry" I reply not really touching my food yet.
"Try and eat some Talia, we talked about this" Felix warns me, it's either I eat or a punishment.
I stuffed my face with few bites showing them I'm eating but that's it.
