When we finally got back, everyone was gathering the pack house. When we came into eye sight, they turned and bowed at us. Still in wolf form I nodded my head back.

Alex said goodbye and shifted as he ran off. He had to make it back to the east before sun down again.

Once he left, A small body slipped through the middle, once he got in the front I recognized him.

"Welcome home, Alpha and Luna." Levi, Chase's little brother stated. Chase sat and leaned over. Levi ran up to him and hugged his head, sobbing in the process.

-I guess he thought he'd never see his brother again-

-yeah well at least his sibling didn't try to kill him- I sighed and shifted back.

I walked up to everyone and bowed before going inside. I walked up to our room and into the bathroom. Hearing footsteps behind me I turned around.

"You okay, B?" Chase asked as he hugged me from behind and attempted to lay his head on my shoulder.

"Yeah. Just thinking about what happened back there. I killed my sister, Chase." I stated.

"No, Tala did. And she only did because she was going to kill you. You understand that she had to kill her right?"

"Yeah I know but, something needs to change." I said as I pulled away from Chase.

"Briar, what are you doing?" He followed me out of the bathroom.

"I need scissors." I opened the drawer to my desk.

"Oh, wait. WHAT?!" He ran and snatched the scissors from my hand.
