Hearing Caitlin's warning, Carey nodded gravely. "Alright, Freya, I understand. Don't you worry. Your father and I won't let them out of our sight for a second."

Stuart added his reassurance. "Freya, with your mother and me here, you don't have to worry about the children's safety at all. I will not let anyone harm them."

He had failed to protect his wife and daughter once before, leading to more than two decades of separation. Stuart was determined never to let history repeat itself.

Caitlin managed a small smile. "Mom, Dad, I'm leaving them in your hands, then."

"You can count on us," Stuart said, patting his chest. "You two go on to work without a worry."

After speaking with her parents, Caitlin left for the office with Gordon.

Stuart and Carey took her warning seriously. They didn't dismiss her concerns, bringing a total of eight bodyguards with them as they took the three children to the park.

As soon as they arrived, they spotted Gertrude waiting for them.

"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Gonzales," Gertrude called out, waving from the entrance.

"Gertrude," Carey responded warmly.

The triplets were thrilled to see her.

"Gertrude!"

All three of them swarmed her, leaving Gertrude at a loss for who to hug first. She ended up giving each of them a quick embrace.

"Yay, Gertrude!"

"You're very welcome," Gertrude said, patting each of their little heads.

The group, consisting of Gertrude, Carey, Stuart, and the eight bodyguards, began to enjoy their day at the park with the children.

It was a Sunday, and the park was crowded.

Elsa was one of the shadows in that crowd. She didn't dare get too close, instead using a pair of binoculars to watch the three children from a distance.
