Another possibility was hiding the bodies in a freezer, but they had already checked. The Forrester family's refrigerator and freezer were both normal.

"I've already got a team on it," Grover said, then turned to the others. "Let's go. We're heading to the hospital to interrogate Elsa now."

"Yes, Mr. Grover."

That family of three were terrible people. They deserved to die. If Caitlin knew she had killed them all, she would probably think Elsa had done the world a favor.

A small, triumphant smile played on Elsa's lips as she thought about her plan.

Just then, she heard Grover's voice from the doorway. "Officer Ford, this way, please."

Officer Ford? Judging by Grover's deferential tone, this officer was much higher-ranking. Maybe Caitlin had sent him to get her out.

At the thought, Elsa's heart leaped. A wide smile spread across her face as she looked at Officer Ford and the others entering the room. "Are you here to take off my handcuffs and shackles? Am I free to go?"
