Coleman understood immediately. "Jonathan, you want us to lay low for now?"

Jonathan nodded. "If he wants to make Stella's position legitimate, he can't go too far against us. But without using certain tactics, some of his plans won't work. On the other hand, if we move against him now, the slightest misstep will give him the opening he needs. So, for now, we do nothing. We'll let others test the waters. He looked at Aurora and said softly, "Leonard."

At the mention of Leonard, Aurora's eyes darkened slightly.

Jonathan continued, "Aurora, your relationship with Simone isn't what it used to be, and she's fallen deeply for Joshua. There's no guarantee she won't be influenced by him. Her words aren't entirely trustworthy. So, you must meet with Leonard, no matter what, and gauge his attitude. If he really has fallen for Stella, using him against Joshua might not be a bad idea."

Both Jonathan and Coleman fell silent. If Leonard had truly fallen for Stella, it was a testament to her capabilities.

"I'll have someone track Leonard's whereabouts," Jonathan said. "Once we find him, you go and talk to him."

Aurora didn't object. She, too, wanted to know if Leonard had really moved on, just as Simone had claimed.

"King Wright, we captured two arsonists in the palace who didn't escape in time. Under interrogation, they confessed to being men under Leonard of the Lerman family."

King Wright slammed his hand on the desk, his face dark and menacing.

He gritted his teeth. "I knew it. The Williams, Gardner, and Lerman families all colluded to bring us down.
