One day, while Stella and Joshua were having a meal with Keen, she suddenly received a call from Haynes.

"Star, something's come up at the company. I need to head back to Novaris immediately.

Should Keen stay with you for now, or come back with me?"

Stella looked at Keen.

"Keen, your dad has an emergency and needs to go back to Novaris. Do you want to go with him?"

Keen instinctively hugged Stella's arm. "I finally get to see you, Mom. I don't want to go back so soon."

Stella said to Haynes, "Keen doesn't want to go back just yet.

How about this? Let Keen stay with me for now. If you're too busy with work to come back and get him, I'll bring him back in a while."

Abby had just taken a month off, so Stella could come back with her.
