A few days later, Joshua informed Stella that Dr. Hunt's plan was clear, and they could proceed with the treatment.

After the warnings from Laurel Quinn, Dr. Winter, and Mr. Burton, Stella hadn't held out much hope for avoiding hypnosis. She never expected Colby to deliver such a welcome surprise.

When Laurel heard the news, she was equally stunned.

"His medical team actually approved it?"

"Yes," Stella said. "He showed it to Dr. Chase that very day. After a few days of evaluation, Dr. Chase's team said there was nothing wrong with the plan. However, whether it actually works will depend on the results of the treatment."

Even the best doctors could only confirm that a treatment plan wouldn't harm the patient or wasn't completely fake. Its actual efficacy could only be proven in practice.

Laurel had obviously seen Colby's plan as well.

On the surface, she couldn't spot any glaring issues either.

"How are the treatments going lately?" Dr. Winter asked.

"His mood has been fairly stable," Stella replied. "No unusual behavior. He even mentioned his headaches aren't as bad as before. Things seem to be moving in a positive direction."

They chatted as they walked inside.

After discussing his condition for a bit, Dr. Winter suddenly asked, "Ms. Cameron, if you don't mind me asking, how exactly did you get Dr. Hunt here?"

Stella was honest. "I asked an older gentleman for a favor, and he brought him in."

Dr. Winter's blue eyes locked onto Stella.

"Are you sure he's reliable?"

Stella caught the underlying meaning. "Is there something wrong with Dr. Hunt?"

"Ms. Cameron, I haven't mentioned this before... but a while ago, after a session, I saw Mr. Gardner and Dr. Hunt talking. Dr. Hunt's attitude seemed very off."
