Ivy sat at the dining table while Wanda brought out a spread of comfort food.

"Did Mr. Lowe go with you to the appointment today?" Wanda asked.

Ivy looked up at her. "Yes, he did. Honestly, you've misunderstood Nathan. He's actually been very good to me."

Wanda shook her head. "Not good enough. You're pregnant. He should be right by your side all the time. His family's rich enough. What's the point of earning all that money? You and the baby matter more than business."

Since marrying into the Lowe family, Ivy had received genuine care from both Keith and Wanda.

It was warmth she had never once felt growing up in the Quinn family. She truly appreciated it.

"Thanks, but Nathan really treats me well. Please don't criticize him anymore."

Wanda sighed but smiled. "Alright, alright. Now eat before it gets cold."

Ivy picked up her fork and began dinner.
