But the truth is, Brandon never really looked at you that way. Honestly, before Sophia showed up, he never got close to any girl. You weren’t an exception.”

Hannah’s expression didn’t change. She said nothing.

“There are plenty of fish in the sea. No point hanging yourself from one tree,” Susan said gently. “And honestly, Sophia doesn’t deserve all this. She never did anything to any of you.
