"I wasn't expecting this too "Cara" I guess we both have to take responsibility" He says softly with his Italian accent sounding more prominent.

"You never did answer my question" I say, swallowing the bile rushing up my throat.

If you find out the baby isn't yours later on will you then let me go" I ask ..

"I don't know it depends!" He says with that same wicked smile on his face as he turned to leave saying a sentence that seems to bring my whole world to a stop

"I've already turned in your resignation letter so you don't need to worry about anything" He says, with his voice sounds like he just did me a favour before sauntering out....

Max's P.O.V.

As I walked out of the living area the sound of loud cursing and profanities being laid on me puts a smile on my face.

"She's definitely a hard and rare one"I thought as I storm into my study with a glass of whiskey in my hand.

"For the first time in years, have never felt such excitement even hearing her swear at me seems to put a smile on my face and it just sends a bolt of thrilling energy into me. The urge to unlock all her mysteries and know everything about seems to grow more and more. I simply don't understand the way I'm reacting to her no one has ever made me feel this way ever since Vivian's death .

"This mysterious Caitlin makes me feel things I thought I'll never feel again.

"Picking up my phone I make arrangements for everything that's going to be needed for tomorrow new adventure.

"Just then it hit me that soon a little life and bundle will have to be dependent on me. It's life itself will be connected to me forever. I'm going to be a father. I'm going to be a fucking father " I say out loud laughing.

I then call my very good friend to announce the news to Alex Weatherson king of Euronia my business partner but before that also my best friend.

"After catching with him on the phone, we spoke and he told me about this mystery girl he met and is totally enormared with.

"Breathing out a sigh of relief as I drain the last bit of whiskey I then replay the look on Catlin's face as she annouced the news and her expression through out the whole conversation which just confirms one thing that she's an open book all her thoughts reflects on her face and expression which makes things all the more interesting.

"One thing is for sure she knows and feels this chemistry too, that magnetic pull that keeps drawing me to her ever since I laid my eyes on her. She's definitely can't deny this attraction forever and I really don't think the condition she gave before getting married to me is going to last.

"She said she won't warm my bed but she never said I couldn't seduce her"I thought with a Devilish smirk on my face.

"I seriously can't choke down anything in my stomach. I easily get disgusted by the smell of anything at all. I can't properly eat but instead I keep on throwing up" I thought as I continued heaving and gaging on my own bile trying to calm my unsettled stomach. When I was done disposing my breakfast yet again!.

"I then turn the tap of the faucet in the sink and washed my mouth clean. My body sags with relief as I step out of the bathroom only to be startled by Max's imposing brooding frame all dressed in a dark magnificent suit.

"Jeez...

"What are you doing standing there like that"I say in exclamation.

"You Scared the hell out of me"I say grimacing as I walk around him to go sit on the bed comfortably.

"I could have fallen on the tiles and broken my neck you know?"I say tactly as I try on to drool at how delicious he looked in his power suit.

"I would never have let that happen "deliza Mia" He says as he smiles flashing his pearly white teeth at me in a dazzling manner.

"Why are you here anyway?"I say clearing my throat trying to distract my eyes from wandering and assessing him.

"Don't you know how to knock?. There's something called privacy you know"I say in a taunting manner scolding him like a child.
