Alex pressed the gas pedal again, driving toward the wedding venue.

My fingernails uncontrollably dug into my palms.

This drew my attention to the ring on my finger.

It was the engagement ring Ryan had given me.

But it didn't match his.

His was from DR.

Mine was also a luxury brand.

But my ring didn't have any engraving inside.

In my previous life, I had questioned Ryan about this. His response was:

Fighting back tremors, I opened the car door and rushed over to the wedding planner.

"Didn't I choose a floral theme? Why has my wedding venue been changed like this?"

The staff was startled by my chilling tone.

"Miss Morgan... didn't you have Mr. Ryan call us the night before last to change the theme? We argued that it was too tight and difficult to change the theme at the last minute, but Mr. Ryan said no matter the cost, he wanted the theme changed."

My body staggered, and I nearly collapsed to the ground.

Fortunately, Alex, who was beside me, caught me in time.

"Sophia, don't panic. Whatever is happening, let's find Ryan and get clarity first."

With tears in my eyes, I turned and gripped Alex's hand like a lifeline.

"Alex... Can you help me look something up?"
