Charlie nodded and said, “Then, let's park the car at the entrance of the village and walk down.”

“Great!” Vera was already eager. After wandering around for more than three hundred years, this place was still her favorite, and it was the place she missed the most.

He couldn't help but ask, “This is strange. Why doesn't anything grow there?”

Vera shook her head in confusion and said, “I don't know either. Would you accompany me to take a look?”

“Sure.” Charlie readily agreed, and they approached the barren patch of land together.

Charlie found it even more peculiar as he stood there.

He couldn't help but say to Vera, “Miss Lavor, theoretically speaking, the climate here belongs to the tropics, so it should be comfortable all year round. Moreover, with the higher altitude in the mountains, the temperature here should be relatively lower. Therefore, this place should have a spring-like climate all year round. In addition, with the high altitude and abundant sunshine, the climate here is extremely favorable for plant growth.”

Both of them instinctively looked up at the sky only to see dark clouds, seemingly coming out of nowhere, covering most of the sky above Heavenly Lake.
