"Grandfather." Rena straightened up fast, greeted him with forced respect, and wisely stepped to the side.

Allanson took his seat at the head of the room, gaze landing on Charlotte. She didn’t even bother to sit up or act polite, just kept lounging as if he wasn’t worth her time.
