"I'm going to print out a poster of her and hang it above my bed."

"Heh."

Listening to the increasingly thirsty comments, Anthony let out a dark, low chuckle. His eyes turned endlessly deep and razor-sharp. The aura radiating off him felt like a glacial freeze, terrifyingly cold.

Holy hell.

The look on his face was going to give someone nightmares.

Kenneth gritted his teeth, clutching Ophelia tightly against his chest. He leaned in and whispered to his niece, "Sweetheart, your uncle is doing this for your inheritance. If your dad tries to kill me, you have to protect me, okay?"

Ophelia completely ignored him, totally mesmerized by the flashing neon lights. She waved her chubby little arms excitedly, cooing at the stage.

"How can you be laughing? Your mom is in massive trouble," Kenneth muttered, poking her soft cheek in despair.

The routine lasted exactly fifteen minutes.

Anthony stood perfectly still for the entire fifteen minutes.

And his expression grew darker by the second.

Because he was standing in the shadows, no one noticed him.

Which meant every single word of worship, infatuation... and outright thirst aimed at his wife was delivered crystal clear to his ears.

They liked her young?

They wanted to steal her away?

Perfect.

It was one thing for men to drool over her, but now women were falling for her too.

Clearly, he had let her rest for far too long.

"Cut!"

The director's voice boomed over the speakers, and the music and dancing stopped instantly.

The room erupted into deafening applause and wild cheering.

"Charlotte! Charlotte!"

Chants of her name echoed throughout the entire studio.

"That was phenomenal."

The director ushered Charlotte over to the monitors, pulling up the playback with frantic excitement. "The rhythm, the power—it was flawless. You completely became one with the track."

"And your stage presence..."

The director slapped the desk, his eyes practically glowing. "Ms. Charlotte, do you have any interest in entering the entertainment industry? I would love for you to be my exclusive lead for all future MVs."

She reached this god-like level in under twenty days?!

Everyone was utterly speechless.

Wait.

Their brains were completely short-circuiting.

They all suddenly felt entirely useless.

"The footage looks great. Everything's perfect. I'm going to go change."

Unfazed by the existential crisis she had just caused, Charlotte tugged uncomfortably at the hem of her skirt and headed toward the dressing rooms.

"Watch Frederick."

Anthony ordered, dropping the sentence like an executioner's blade before turning and striding purposely toward the dressing rooms.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Left alone with the two babies, Kenneth poked one's cheek and tapped the other's nose, sighing deeply. "I'm not going to say whose parents are about to have a very intense fight."

Frederick was not amused.

Ophelia was having the time of her life.
