Inside the private room, Jackson and Adonis flanked Charlotte, guns up, eyes sharp and cold as they stared down the guards blocking the door.

“That’s it? Seriously?” Adonis let out a low, mocking laugh.

He didn’t get to enjoy that feeling for long. Heavy footsteps thundered from the hall, getting closer fast.

“Shit… they’re trying to ambush us?” Adonis muttered, realizing the casino had called in backup. He shot a look at Charlotte. “What now?”

There were a lot of footsteps. Way too many to count.

Charlotte kept her gaze down, lips pressed tight. She took her time rolling up her sleeves, then finally spoke, her voice icy and calm. “We fight back. No holding back.”

As soon as she finished, Charlotte pulled a sleek handgun from her bag and fired off several quick shots at the guards’ feet.

The three of them moved in sync, no words needed. The moment gunfire rang out, Jackson and Adonis jumped into action.

Jackson fired into the open hall, the sound deafening. Panic spread through the casino like wildfire. Thousands of guests started screaming, shoving, and scrambling for the exits. The guards trying to reach the private room were instantly blocked by the surging crowd.

“Charlotte, left side!” Adonis yelled. He fished out a handful of micro-bombs and tossed them onto the casino’s expensive machines as he ran.

One explosion after another echoed through the room. Thick white smoke poured out, filling the air and making it impossible to see. The chaos grew. People pushed and stumbled everywhere, desperate to get out.

No one at Netherworld Casino ever thought someone would be crazy enough to not just cheat under their roof, but also to fight back so fiercely. The guards were completely thrown off.

Meanwhile, in the office, Anthony watched the chaos on the monitors. In less than two minutes, his casino was a complete mess. He shot to his feet, his handsome face stone-cold.

“Give me a gun.”

The cameras were fogged up with smoke, but he could still spot the three of them moving through the crowd.

“Anthony, here!” Hans shoved a gun into his hands.

Anthony stepped out onto the balcony, grabbed the railing above, and swung himself up to the second floor. He spotted the trio slipping through the panicked crowd toward the exit. A crooked smile appeared on his lips.

Not bad. Hiding behind thousands of guests to make their escape.
