“How can that be?” Letty’s mind was spinning. She stared at the screen, half convinced she was seeing things.

Charlotte? A freshman, someone who’d just started college, had actually beat her and taken first place in the second round. And she’d done it in under ten minutes.

The murmurs in the audience were getting louder. “Charlotte actually beat Letty… this is incredible.”
