“Did we figure out what really happened?” Franco’s face was stone cold, his deep voice sharp and icy, the kind that made your skin crawl.

“The people from X Organization seem to be looking for Asclepius too,” the butler answered, respectful as always. “They put out a missing person notice online over six months ago, but they haven’t found him yet.”

So, the other side must have tracked Asclepius to Cabinda as well. They wanted to get there first and keep the prize for themselves.

“X Organization…” Franco leaned on the windowsill, his fingers curling tight, his expression hard and dangerous.

Someone actually dared to make a move against him in Cabinda.

All right then.

“Mr. Hawk, what do we do now?”

They had no influence in Cabinda. If they went head-to-head with X Organization, they’d lose, plain and simple.

Just then, the butler’s phone rang. He listened for a moment, then his face went pale.

“Mr. Hawk, the leader of X Organization just sent another expulsion order. That’s the third one in the last thirty minutes.”

Three times in half an hour. They weren’t even trying to hide the threat. They wanted Franco out, no room for negotiation.

Apex and Solenia mostly kept to themselves, but no one could say for sure if God would ever come asking Franco for help.

“Mr. Hawk…” The butler sounded nervous. “If we don’t leave now, we might get stuck in Cabinda.”

Asclepius wasn’t interested in money. If they couldn’t find him, X Organization probably couldn’t either. Besides, Asclepius was still refusing to come out of hiding. It would take time.

And Mrs. Hawk needed Franco back on her side.

What a waste. They had the perfect chance last night, then she slipped away right under their noses.

“Pack up. We’re heading back to Solenia.” Franco stood up after a quiet moment, his eyes cold and sharp. “And one more thing…”

“Yes, Mr. Hawk?”

The butler looked at him, uncertain.
