"The Luna was right when she said you are in the kitchen trying to poison the guest food!" one of the guards huffed leaving me befuddled as the words resounded in my ear.

it sounds stupid and I could have laughed if they weren't having stern faces.

"I don't know what you are talking about, I'm here to cook and found already cooked food instead, I'm even about to leave before you all came in, so what the heck are you talking about??..who wants to poison who?" I asked sneering at the men.

"And we all thought the Luna was lying not knowing that she already knew the truth, bundle her up and bring her to the hall, she would be disgraced in front of the whole people out there!" one of the guards who was the head ordered and I tried resisting not until three blows landed on my cheek before...

I felt weak and allowed them to drag me away.

Jason's POV

I was right in the hall with my father, we both knew why we are here, everyone had come for the birthday celebration, oh yeah, like I was told, one of the alpha's children, the daughter was having her birthday so many alpha's and their members were invited, there were many respected and well know werewolf present...

The music and everything was just so great, it was a well-prepared feast and Dad had decided to come not as a friend but as an enemy,

He is here to check how the pack was and the best strategy to use in attacking...

I don't know what happened in the past but one thing I am sure of is that my dad hates alpha Wolve with passion but he was good at hiding it...

I sat calmly enjoying the dance, the music and everything, there was a reserved seat around me and my father, it was not for anything but out of fear...

I wished I could walk up to her and hug her close to my body, I just wished I can kiss and take her home, all those were mere wishes because I couldn't even stand up, Dad gaze was on me and it was eating me deeply, it was freaking me out, I don't need a soothsayer to know what would befall me if I got close to the daughter of Wolve.

"We caught her in the kitchen just as Elf guessed, she was about putting the poison into the food," one of the guards said with a deep growl as they bowed,
