She rushed at me from behind, I sensed it and turned immediately, a hot slap from her landed on my cheek again and this time I couldn't bear it,

I gave her my slap and she fell immediately screaming like she would die anytime soon,

"Are you still a kid, I slapped you just once and you are rolling on the floor, screaming like a day-old child!" I scoffed but she screamed louder and that was when I knew I'm doomed,

She was screaming to call the attention of Dad and Mom, my heart began to beat so loud and fast, I stared at her as she cried as I stabbed her,

"Scarlett, stop making those noises...please, I mean I'm sorry, stop crying, I...I..." My lips were just quivering, I kept looking around praying no one hears the cry but it was impossible,

"Who made my daughter cry this early morning?" I heard the voice of Daren my father and that was when I knew I'm done for today, I'm finished already,

I regret ever touching her, it was just anger and I hate myself for getting angry, I should have allowed her to hit me as she like, but it was so hard,

Dad turned to me with fury in his eyes, there was a pure rage in there and his fist was clenched already

"How dare you?' he growled deeply with those deadly look,

I opened my mouth to talk but fear won't allow me,

He walked closer to me with a menacing look making me move back in fright,

With a great speed like lightning, he grabbed my neck and pinned me to the wall tightly that I found it hard to breathe,

"You can't kill anyone here and go scot-free, tell your demon clan that they have failed!!!" He thundered and raised me from the ground with his grip on my neck,

I stared at the picture with my mouth agape, I couldn't just believe it and for some second I thought it was a mere illusion, she just mentioned he is her crush and now I expected to see someone else, I expect to see a random man who caught her heart only to see the last person she thought it could be, this left her weak,

She couldn't do anything, her heart was heavy now and she felt like crying, it was the last thing she wanted in life,

She glanced at the picture again and saw him, the man was the same that had caught her heart, at first sight, the very man she believed could be her mate, this was that same man who had believed her when everyone doubted her words, she had mind linked with him and saw the pity he got for her,

Why then is he the same man Scarlett called her to crush, she had his picture all over the pages of her diary with descriptions of love, there were drawing of heart and love,
