Max shot him a withering look before selecting two dishes and handing the phone back. Wyatt took it, locking the screen as he cut straight to the chase. "Did you get into a fight with Felicia today?"

Max's face darkened, but he remained silent.

Max picked up a plastic cup to take a sip of water, but abruptly set it back down, turning his head to glare at the busy street instead.

You have absolutely no right to lose your temper with Felicia. Take a good look at your own actions. After that massive scandal with Andrea, it would be entirely justified if Felicia decided to move on with Jeremy right this second."

Max snapped his gaze back to Wyatt, his jaw clenching. "Did you bring me here just to lecture me?"

"Do you honestly think I have nothing better to do?" Wyatt shot back. "I could be at home with my wife and daughter. Instead, I am sitting out here in the cold with a miserable divorcé. So yes, I am here to lecture you."

Max scowled, clearly offended by Wyatt's blunt terminology.

If you want real affection, you have to look at what you are actually bringing to the table. You cannot just keep demanding things without offering anything in return. I saw her earlier today.
