"Dear Olivia, my sis, where are you?"

"Is that you in the red dress?"

"On my big day, you have to look your best."

"I've missed you so much."

As soon as I arrived at the ceremony, I received a call from my sister, Emily Brown.

After being separated for years, we had just reunited, and I had specially prepared an invaluable jade necklace, intending to put it on her personally.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I made a point to call my husband, Johnny Morgan. I requested that he add two bottles of the prestigious Lafite to each table for Emily's wedding feast.

Johnny was also delighted to learn that Emily was getting married at his hotel and said he would come over personally to toast to his new sister-in-law and brother-in-law.

As the elder sister, I always wanted to make sure my sister had a grand wedding.

It was also a surprise for her.

"Yes, it's me in the red dress. Where are you? I have a gift for you," I asked with a smile.

"Just a moment, I'm still getting ready. I'll find you soon. I've kept the best seat for you, because you're my favorite sister. Go enjoy it," my sister said playfully.

I was touched, still envisioning the reunion of sisters.

Our parents split up when we were kids. I stayed with Dad, and she stayed with Mom. We didn't see each other for more than ten years. But I still value our family connection.

I was happy for her on her wedding day.

However, as soon as I arrived at the venue, before I could react, my hair was brutally grabbed by a forceful hand.

"Emily Brown, how dare you come here today?"

"You bitch! You dare to cheat on me."

"Today, I'm going to show everyone what you're really like."

"You pushed me to this. Since you’ve embarrassed me, I won't let you have an easy time either."

I even felt sorry for my sister when I heard him curse her name.

"What's really happening?!"

But all I got in response was a hard slap!

"You think you can fool me? Just admit what you've done!"

I held my stinging face and yelled back: "I've done nothing wrong, you're mistaken!"

Another slap came my way.

At William's furious command, the venue's big screens showed a video of my sister's affair.
