"But these two and a half months being here made me realize that everything in this life happens for a reason, and though I never deserved it, I found peace. " I smiled to myself as I felt the words flowing. "I came here with a purpose that I was completely blinded by, and I know I've made my mistakes but I've learned to embrace them rather than resenting them or acting like they didn't happen. I guess when you really think about it, it was the universe's messed up way of doing its job... A friend of mine once told me that it would all work itself out, and I didn't believe her. But little did I know that she was right."

I paused for a moment and glanced at Jane with a smile.

"So yea, I've learnt that maybe the universe isn't against my existence" I chuckled again before continuing. "Maybe it was just preparing me for what was to come. And when I got in its way, it just had to deal with me the hard way. But at the end of the day, it all worked out. I've found peace, family and love all because of fate"

I looked to my left where Ace was standing, gazing at me with a proud and loving expression.

"So if you ask who Roxy Gilbert is, that's your answer. Just Roxy Gilbert, sailing along with the waves of life that the universe laid out for me. I don't know what I will do tomorrow or years from now, but I'm leaving that up to destiny." I sighed in content, feeling at ease with myself.

"I'm the shewolf who found her way in the arms of someone I once thought was the enemy, and has found refuge in the land I saw as anomalous. Funny isn't it? But that's the thing with life, you just don't know what will happen"

I paused and looked over the crowd once again before a small smile played on my lips.

"But one thing I do know, is that I'll be by your side every step of the way. Being the Luna, leader, protector and friend to each and everyone of you. Because I've found my home, and I've found my family. And nothing in this world will tear me away from my people. And you, Truemoon Pack, are my people... Thank you"

I stepped away as the crowd erupted in deafening cheers again. My mom had tears in her eyes and my dad stood tall and proud with a smile on his face. I turned to face everyone else on the stage as they all clapped and beamed at me.

"You were great" Ace whispered as he wrapped me in his arms.

"I was?"

He nodded. "You always are"

I blushed at his words and he released me and collected the dagger from Calum.

My eyes immediately found Aiden's and he had the same torn expression as me in that moment. Once my blood mixes with Ace's, I'll be a Truemoon wolf, and all my Silent Moon connections will be gone. Including Aiden.

I poked in his mind one last time as Ace cut his palm and Jane's.

<"I'm gonna miss this"> I said to Aiden, staring in his eyes.

<"I will too sis. I can't believe I'm gonna have to call you if I need to talk to you. Like who does that!">

My mind was immediately flooded with the voices of Ace's pack members expressing their love and happiness. It took a while to die down, and I didn't even mind the slight headache I got from hearing so many voices at once.

Ace released my hand and I could see that the wound was already healing. Jane came and stood next to me, as we both looked at our new pack in our new home.

"Our new members everyone!"

They all applauded, and members of Ace's pack did a little bow before returning to their applause. I looked to Aiden as he watched me with a proud gaze. He nodded once before winking at Jane.

This felt right. I felt at home, and though I will miss my pack, they'll always be a part of who I am.

Ace came and hugged me around my shoulders then pressed a kiss to my temple.

"Welcome home, my Luna," he mumbled proudly against my hair. I turned fully to face him, tiptoed and placed a kiss on his lips.

"I was always home, my Alpha."
