Her house was silent, which she wasn't shocked about because her mother worked at the pack hospital, she was frequently left alone to succumb to the silence. At first, she was afraid, but she soon learned how much she preferred it to her mother's lectures. They go up to her room and lock the door behind them before cuddling under the sheets and watching Bones.

It was only around midnight that Nicco got up to get some goodies from the kitchen, leaving her to daydream about the bonfire. A part of her wanted to go see why the beta wanted her to attend, but another part of her knew better than to succumb to curiosity.

Nicco enters the room with a small package and a sneaky grin before taking a seat near her, her eyes wide with concern. He placed the box in her hands and observed her expression as she opened it, his lips turning pale from the nervous gnawing.

Her gaze is drawn to the silver chain bracelet, which she wraps her hands around and her heart leaps at the sight of the cute little crow in the centre. There was a note in the box, and the words on it made her eyes widen.

She drew him into an embrace, not shocked that he remembered her birthday when she had forgotten her own and didn't care, but she was happy for their friendship. "Now black coat or white coat?" he asks as they pull away from each other, his eyes glinting with mischief.
