Jonathan lowered his gaze toward Anneliese and said, "I'm just an ordinary citizen."

Seeing the officer choke in embarrassment, Anneliese couldn't help wanting to laugh.

"Jonathan, why are you here?"

Anneliese glanced at the two of them and felt a little bitter. Is the difference between Jonathan and me really that huge? No one took me seriously when I called myself an ordinary person, but no one believed Jonathan when he said the same thing.
